The Quality Assurance Leader will oversee the control systems necessary to ensure Ikonix USA adheres to ISO 9001 and ISO IEC 17025 quality standards and policies.
The Quality Assurance Leader will be responsible for:
Developing, implementing, and updating quality assurance requirements to meet ISO 9001 and ISO IEC 17025 quality standards
Select, install, and maintain hardware and software to improve laboratory quality, throughput, and adherence to ISO IEC 17025
Test method verification and validation; as well as training, testing, and cross checking programs
Oversee internal and external audits as required for ISO and approved vendor compliance
Ensure that corrective actions are documented and implemented
Devise quality statistics
Analyze data from laboratory instruments and ATS systems to improve performance
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical degree
3 - 5 years of quality management in a laboratory setting
2 - 3 years of ISO experience; preferably managing the ISO process
Strong electronics background, including calibration, trouble shooting, and repairs
Must be organized and possess a strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to train and explain procedure
