The Quality Assurance Leader will oversee the control systems necessary to ensure Ikonix USA adheres to ISO 9001 and ISO IEC 17025 quality standards and policies.

The Quality Assurance Leader will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and updating quality assurance requirements to meet ISO 9001 and ISO IEC 17025 quality standards

  • Select, install, and maintain hardware and software to improve laboratory quality, throughput, and adherence to ISO IEC 17025

  • Test method verification and validation; as well as training, testing, and cross checking programs

  • Oversee internal and external audits as required for ISO and approved vendor compliance

  • Ensure that corrective actions are documented and implemented

  • Devise quality statistics

  • Analyze data from laboratory instruments and ATS systems to improve performance


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical degree

  • 3 - 5 years of quality management in a laboratory setting

  • 2 - 3 years of ISO experience; preferably managing the ISO process

  • Strong electronics background, including calibration, trouble shooting, and repairs

  • Must be organized and possess a strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

  • Leadership experience

  • Ability to train and explain procedure

  • Dependability

Primary responsibility is to ensure effective and compliant management of documentation and other necessary functional support of CMO quality. They will also perform quality assurance clerical and administrative duties. This individual must be detail-oriented, and capable of working in a moderately stressful office environment while adhering to project deadlines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Documentation management for CMO Quality (e.g. organization, archival, retention) * Runs queries, compiles metrics, and, as needed, prepares trend and status reports * Interacts with CMOs as required * Ensures CMO Quality Agreements are current per procedural/organizational requirements * Enter data into computerized systems * Additional support as defined ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist other QA Functional Areas as needed Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be detail-oriented and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
