Job Description:

This position is on the Global Accounting & Reconciliation Control team within the Corporate Controller Line of Business (LOB). The individual is responsible for leading reconciliation migrations which involves working with various LOBs to learn their business and associated reconciliation process in order to centralize the reconciliations within GIRC. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for reconciliation automation, Quality Assurance routines, data mining and report/presentation preparation.

Required Skills

  • BS/BA In Business related field

  • Intermediate to advanced excel, modeling, data manipulation

  • Strong analytical/reporting skills

  • Organized and able to work independently

  • Strong initiative; able to quickly learn new concepts and operate without supervision

  • Comfortable leading/working on complex projects

  • Problem solving capability

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

Desired Skills

  • 3-5 years' experience in financial/accounting industry

  • Understanding of GIRC process and Enterprise Account Reconciliation Policy

  • SAP/eLedger, Oracle GL knowledge and general ledger research

  • Prior Quality Assurance experience

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 Quality Engineer The Quality Engineerexecutes Quality Engineering function for products manufactured in the EastProvidence, Inc. and participates in planning, execution and implementationactivities for New Product Development and Sustaining Engineering projects. TheSenior Quality Engineer is responsible for day-to-day activities relating toQuality reporting, tracking and systems in the East Providence plant. Teamwork both within the department and with peers is necessary to ensureachievement of the overall Company and team goals. Responsibilities include: * Usekey product/process metrics to evaluate process effectiveness, identifyimprovement opportunities/best practices, and drive continuous qualityimprovement activities. * Performanalysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommendupdates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. * Providesupport to Operations including the review and approval of manufacturing workinstructions, deviation requests, and nonconforming material reports, andEngineering Change Orders. * Review,approve and develop (as needed) product verification plans and respective testmethods. * Supportvalidation efforts of approved testing to assure compliance. * Providevalidation support by applying manufacturing quality tools including, but notlimited to: FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ, control plans, processverification/validation plans, Cpk, Cp, SPC, DOE, process data analysis, andDMAIC. * Leadand/or Participate in complaint investigations, failure analysis of returnedproducts, and issues resulting in a stop ship/stop production; documentfindings, provide reports and analysis, & document health risk assessment. * Developsnew and/or improved processes and techniques for engineering tasks. * Developsproduct reliability assessments and reliability test plans. * Responsiblefor review and approval of drawings, calculations, specifications and otherdesign inputs/outputs. * Providesdirection in developing inspection plans, First Article Inspection, In-Processand Final Product Inspection, Sampling Plans, inspection and acceptancecriteria and Design Validation Testing. * Monitorsand/or performs quality activities to support First Article Inspection. * Appliessound systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing,communicating, and resolving quality issues. * Minimizescustomer complaints due to product quality through effective corrective actionsand preventative actions. * Coordinate objectives with production procedures incooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability * Partnerwith Supplier Quality Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/QA on supplierqualification/development activities * Activelyparticipate in non-conforming material disposition and MRB activity * Ensurescompliance of project activities to appropriate regulations and standards (ASTM,ISO, EN). * Performsprocess capability studies or special studies necessary to increase control andlower total quality costs. * Performs other duties as assigned * Adopt andfollow Aspen's core values of Safety, Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, Customerand Innovation on both a personal and professional level * Requirements: * Minimumof 5 years of experience within an ISO-certified environment in a continuousmanufacturing environment preferred. * Priorexperience leading teams and/or meetings highly desirable to assist withdelivery of and adherence to committed Quality goals and development of newprograms. * Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
