The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Assignments are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. General instructions are normally given on routine work and detailed instructions are given on new assignments.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Performs manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.
Able to operate quality inspection Equipment (Mitutoyo CMM, Caliper, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, etc)
Ensures raw materials, in process and finished products meet company standards.
May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.
May assess draft and final label copy, utilizing knowledge of labeling regulations.
Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.
Specified inspection results will be recorded. FAI verification, CTQ verification, etc
Other duties may be assigned as required.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires quality control inspection experience, and understanding of basic inspection techniques.
Auto Cad experience a plus
Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Requires reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
GD&T knowledge is plus.
