Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Assignments are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. General instructions are normally given on routine work and detailed instructions are given on new assignments.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.

  • Able to operate quality inspection Equipment (Mitutoyo CMM, Caliper, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, etc)

  • Ensures raw materials, in process and finished products meet company standards.

  • May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.

  • May assess draft and final label copy, utilizing knowledge of labeling regulations.

  • Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.

  • Specified inspection results will be recorded. FAI verification, CTQ verification, etc

  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Requires quality control inspection experience, and understanding of basic inspection techniques.

  • Auto Cad experience a plus

  • Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Requires reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.

  • GD&T knowledge is plus.

  • Self motivated.

  • Team player.

In the work environment the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.

The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally.The Delivery Quality Assurance team is a group within the Risk/Marketing team working with Citi Retail Credit Cards. We verify the output of business strategies used to mitigate risk or increase sales. This position is for Tester that will work with Development teams to review Business Requirements and Design documents to build integration, regression, and functional tests. The candidate must exhibit testing concepts, strong communication skills and have flexibility to handle a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities: * Contribute to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes and work-flows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise within Risk Management * Develop recommendations to adjust credit policies by analyzing credit and financial performance and utilizing statistical scoring, segmentation, and regression and simulation techniques * Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, reconciliation, and quality testing * Research customer and/or management queries using risk systems and data and support ad-hoc risk policy analyses and projects as required * Participate in developing, testing, and optimizing credit policies, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance, and assist in the implementation of those policies, processes and other related initiatives * Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats and prepare risk management presentations for senior management * Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. * Read and comprehend project documentation * Build test cases to execute in a formal testing environment * Build/Enhance/maintain an automated regression test suite in UFT * Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies in the testing process * Knowledge of the Credit Card Industry Qualifications: * 5-8 years of relevant experience * Knowledge of commercial risk analytics * Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals * Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency * Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects * Proven interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills * Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) * Strong communication skills * Ability to research, solve problems, and work both independently and in a team environment * BA/BS in a technical field * Experience with Unix command line and basic scripting is a plus * Proficiency in SQL * Knowledge of SAS is a plus * Experience in HP Quality Center Education: * Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience Citigroup Inc.
