The QA Engineer develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with Engineering in resolution of problems.
Designs quality assurance and test processes for software modules and integrated systems
Analyzes design and determines test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities based on knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution
Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation
Identifies and creates solutions for issues with code and integration
Communicates with team members about test status and issue resolution
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in application development using Microsoft technologies
Experience in the Material Handling Industry/Distribution Centers and warehouse automation
Experience with ASP.net, AJAX, Java Script, JQuery and HTML5 a plus
Experience with developing inter-process communication (TCP/IP socket of WCF) a plus
Experience with Mobile Software Development a plus
Experience with WPF and XAML Technologies a plus
Knowledge of software testing methodology and quality assurance tools and processes
Computer skills, including Java or .Net Framework, C#, VB or C/C ++, or SQL or Oracle Server
Excellent knowledge of computer science design patterns and ability to develop objected-oriented design patterns
Have understanding of real-time control software architectures embedded RTOS application design using threads and inter-process communication. Structured code, abstraction, device drivers, etc.
Familiar with Team Foundation Server version control system
