As a QA Engineer at iboss, you'll have the opportunity to work on multiple technologies. Our development scope extends from device specific driver, service, and communication protocols to cloud scalable connectivity and big data processing through third-party analytics tool integration and customer enterprise UI creation for security policy management. Deliver high-quality code to automate the testing of the iboss platform.
Participate in testing pre-release solutions and validating performance.
Write test cases and test plans for documenting the testing process.
Contribute to solving complex engineering problems in testing and tools.
Design, develop, and extend automated testing frameworks.
Experience in developing Web-UI testing frameworks.
Experience in writing automated tests.
Experience with the Python programming language.
Versatile and fast learner.
Ability to track down and find issues that developers may have missed.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Must be very hands-on, passionate about quality, and willing to collaborate.
Experience in managing Linux server environments.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix, Networking, Firewalls, IPS, Web Security, Firewalls, VPNs, and Load balancers is a plus.
