Description
Purpose: To provide technical Quality Assurance support and act as a focal point for customer problems, questions, or concerns. The customer liaison coordinates with the proper company personnel to provide timely and accurate answers for the customer. Also responsible for providing support to supplier activities during S1 and S2 as well as management support of the quality technicians on the floor for both shifts.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
100% Onsite Customer Liaison working with Quality, Engineering, and Production to support builds, address concerns, and provide rework and containment support.
Attend daily Stellantis audits and communicate results to Mobis.
Accept or reject materials / inspected, based on conformance to acceptance criteria, records inspection data on appropriate forms, logs, and/or in computer databases.
Develop a working relationship with line Stellantis and line management.
Containment and coordination with Mobis on issues identified as Mobis and issues identified as supplier to Mobis.
Initiate interim actions and respond to customer concerns as needed.
Meet with the team at the beginning of shift and end of shift to communicate Mobis-related issues.
Facilitate feedback between line colleagues as needed.
Support Engineering Change Notice reviews for impact on process and system.
Responsible for maintaining a professional company image and attitude toward those inside and outside the company.
Support and adherence to company policies and procedures
Repair/Mechanical Knowledge or support when issues are required.
Ensure good communication with TSAP Supplier Quality Table Engineers and hourly workforce concerning any quality issues.
Set up clean points at TSAP.
Perform yard purges at TSAP for 100 units or less.
Relay information to Mobis Quality team for all quality issues and provide TSAP Supplier Quality Engineers with internal and external clean points as well as Vin lists for yard purges.
Make a couple of rounds per day to talk with TSAP operators that deal directly with our parts and ensure they are not having any issues.
Provide TSAP repair with replacement parts that are needed for our commodities and log all parts received and Vin # in the shift report.
Build relationships with TSAP Supplier Quality Table Engineers and hourly workforce to help prevent NCTs from being written.
Communicate with Mobis shipping throughout the day to ensure we don't have any part shortages at TSAP.
Contact TSAP Materials when there is a potential part shortage.
Ensure all Set ins/Set outs at TSAP are coordinated appropriately.
Send out end-of-shift reports daily to Mobis, summarizing quality/delivery issues and quarantines on hand, etc.
Supervise any 3rd party containments set up at TSAP for Mobis
Other duties as assigned by management
Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:
1.High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred, or in lieu of degree 3-5 years of relevant experience.
2.TS16949 and audit training experience preferred.
3.Ability to read and understand detailed instructions, inspection, and manufacturing procedures and drawings.
4.Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, management, department head staff, and various agency personnel.
5.Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a wide range of people.
6.A working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and tools utilized for investigation and correction.
7.Some lifting to 30 lbs

Mechanical or technical background with the ability to understand issues and complete repairs in a timely and correct manner.
Understanding of tools and assembly to identify and root cause items and implement corrections or repairs
