Do you love bleeding edge technology? Alexa Automotive is looking for exceptional software development engineers to work on enabling Alexa the voice service behind Amazon Echo in automobiles. The team seeks to provide seamless experiences for customers with Alexa in the car.

As a member of the team, you will be working with business partners, software development engineers to design, implement automated tests / unit tests. You will have significant influence on our overall test strategy and driving the system architecture that supports it and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

You should have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, solid understanding of the operating system software, as well as knowledge of object oriented design principles.You will learn a variety of cutting-edge technologies, development processes, and develop well-rounded skills such as leadership, and effective project management. Candidates will need to define test plans, test specifications, test suites, test cases as well as design tools for unit, functional and performance testing in a programmatic manner.

Click Here SummaryThis role is a critical member of the quality team and will interface with cross-functional team members to define and ensure the fulfillment of fundamental requirements. The Varex Imaging Quality Engineer will support the organization by effectively and proactively ensuring the highest possible quality levels for our products. Job Description * Drives or conducts failure root cause analysis, institutes corrective and preventive action and the necessary controls for elimination of product non-conformities * Reviews and approves Engineering Changes, Deviations, Verification & Validation activities, and risk assessments to ensure compliance to quality standards and regulatory requirements * Reviews and approves part and product specifications * Supports the review of Device Master Records to ensure accuracy and completeness * Supports resolution of customer issues * Champions Quality Assurance initiatives and changes to achieve product quality and reliability * Develops, reviews and approves Quality Assurance documents and/or records * Provides assistance and guidance to QA inspectors in measurements, and non-conforming part and product disposition * Compiles, analyzes, reports on quality data and determines the need for corrective action * Supports internal and external audit preparation, execution and reporting * Provides guidance and training support on quality-related topics to professional staff * Bachelors Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, Biomedical, or Electrical) * 2-5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of experience * Knowledge of Quality Management Systems required * Working knowledge in Design Change Controls, Equipment and process Verification & Validation * Hands on experience in DFMEA, PFMEA, risk analysis and management * Experience in interpreting design drawings and design schematics and Technical specifications in general * Demonstrated proficiency in statistical methods (SPC, Process capability, Gauge R&R) * Working knowledge in Quality Tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys, Paretos) * Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills and critical thinking * Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment * Ability to motivate and influence people to achieve customer satisfaction * Must be results oriented with a strong sense of urgency Time Type: Full time Job Type: Regular Work Shift: First Shift Pay Rate Type: Salary All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.
