We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our SaaS team at our headquarters office in Wellesley, MA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, document, execute and maintain test plans for complex product functionality
Participate in requirements review and technical design discussions
Monitor and communicate overall quality of our products
Track defect levels
Root cause analysis
Monitor progress towards acceptable defect level
Analyze business and project requirements and develop appropriate test scenarios
Coordinate testing efforts with project managers, developers and end users
Test features and products and approve for release
Assist in the creation and maintenance of test data
Log and follow up on defects and enhancements in the issue tracking system
Maintain testing documentation and scripts in an organized manner
Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server
Experienced with testing tools
Hands-on experience writing test cases, plans, procedures
Short release cycles and the full software lifecycle experience
Automated regression test creation experience is highly desirable
Experienced in testing WinForm applications
Experience performing queries to extract data for verification and validation is preferred
Ability to assist in code review desirable but not required
