Job Description:

  • Acute attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish.

  • Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Demonstrated ability to uphold, promote and in some cases, lead the Card Services Quality Control Procedures/Policies.

  • Six Sigma training and certification a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree from four year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language /Communication

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to question from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Mathematical/Logical Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Provide management level analyses using Excel and reports out of ERP system.

  • Make Power Point presentations to management.

  • Able to organize data on a spreadsheet for the purpose of communicating Quality related trends and facts.

  • Utilize state-of-the-art tools such as Excel, Word and Web tools and Web services.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Sit, bend and stand at his/her work station for extended periods of time.

  • Frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers in keyboarding.

  • Frequent reaching with hands and arms.

  • Frequent talking and/or listening on the phone.

  • Capable of lifting up to 30lb boxes.

  • Capable of walking to and from maintenance and production areas in a 40,000 square foot building.

  • Calculate figures and amounts.

  • Capable of maintaining focus on projects for extended periods of time.

  • Able to discern and evaluate cause and effect issues.

  • Able to plan and execute solutions to problems.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The employee works in an active high volume manufacturing building. The Quality department is in an office but frequent walks through the production area are required. Occasional business trips are required to visit other Archway locations, customers or for offsite training.
