Your Impact: The Quality Assurance Business Analyst will be a liaison between the client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems. They will be dedicated to completing end to end testing (creating test plans, test cases, all the way through execution), as well as working with the business and development teams to define requirements.

  • Responsible for working closely with internal business subject matter experts to gather and document current/as-is business processes along with the future state requirements for customizations/updates to the software. Interaction with external client stakeholders may be required as well for enhancement requests.

  • Serve as liaison between client business users and development team, communicating and interpreting requirements and technical solutions

  • Translate user feedback into refined requirements for development team

  • Create test scenarios using industry standards and best practices for software development life cycle

  • Collect end-user requirements (for improving business processes and software) via interviews, focus groups, and other stakeholder discussions

  • Track quality assurance metrics

  • Create mockups, wire frames, and proto types that illustrate current and future workflows

  • Write release notes for new features that would be delivered to customers.

  • Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance, verify the integrity and availability of all software resources, systems and key processes, and verify completion of scheduled releases.

  • Ensure that adequate functional testing and analysis is performed and documented prior to implementation of new applications and on an as needed basis for existing applications to ensure that assigned applications and related systems function appropriately and meet user objectives

  • Participate in regression testing, Quality Assurance testing, User acceptance testing

  • Conduct QAT/UAT sessions / focus groups with users to capture feedback on functionality being developed within each agile sprint

  • Translate user feedback into refined requirements for development team

  • Provide help desk ticket support by expeditiously troubleshooting application production issues, designing solutions for issues, and opening and managing cases with outside vendors as necessary

  • Perform data validation using SQL tools to ensure data integrity prior to release of new software

  • Provide support for continuous improvement with existing applications

  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

  • Other ad hoc projects as needed

Successful Pharmers Have:

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects within varying deadlines

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

  • Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Testing Automation, some scripting language capability (ETL, javascript, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written, technical documentation skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Understanding business needs

Our Next Pharmer Needs To Have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in software quality assurance, including prior experience with the following:

  • Documenting as-is and to-be process

  • Gathering requirements

  • Test case writing and executing

  • Leading the testing process

  • Implementation of new process controls and workflows to support all areas of customer service, accounting, training, etc.

  • Basic understanding of running SQL queries

  • Experience in data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight or similar)

  • Ability to participate in customer facing group requirement sessions with confidence and conciseness

  • Effective technical writing skills; including previous experience documenting user requirements and designing software features.

  • Experience with large data sets, data cleansing, data importing, automation workflows

  • Experience working with JIRA is strongly preferred

The main focus of this role is to champion customer related quality activities ensuring the established systems satisfy internal and customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
