What are we looking for?

Were looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer that is passionate about quality assurance best practices. As a member of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for helping the team test code and automate which translates into actual business value. Youll be asking the question, How can we most effectively solve our customers problems?, and using the answer to guide your day-to-day work. Writing clean and performant code, creating tests, manually testing, and deploying are all part of how youll create and deliver value. As an integral part of your team, youll be asking How can we get better? while contributing to the psychological safety of the group. A balance of exceptional technical skill and the ability to cultivate interpersonal relationships are fundamental to success at TransLoc and our sister companies DoubleMap and Ride Systems. We are now 3 brands together as one powerhouse in transit technology owned by Ford Smart Mobility, A Division of Ford Motor Company.

Requirements

You Should Have:

  • A bachelors degree in science or technology related field, or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of quality assurance automation experience
  • Programming experience with languages such as JavaScript, Python & Ruby
  • Mobile or SaaS quality assurance and/or automation experience
  • Experience working with suites of automated tests
  • Experience working as a member of a cross functional team practicing Scrum/Agile
  • Candidates must be currently located in North Carolina, Utah or Indiana to be considered.
  • No Visa Sponsorship for this position (Cannot support H1-B candidates)

Preferred:

  • Experience with API testing is a plus
  • Experience with Accessibility testing is a plus

To support that challenge, the NA Regulatory & Stewardship team is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Unit Specialist, Seeds to be located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. As a Quality Assurance Unit Specialist, Seeds, you will help shape the future of agriculture by: * Ensuring compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Good Laboratory Practice Standards (GLPS) * Monitoring studies and facilities to ensure compliance * Conducting audits and inspections * Writing and submitting reports Accountabilities * Audit study protocols, data and final reports to ensure compliance with the EPA Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) GLP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Monitor studies and facilities to ensure the facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, practices, and records are compliant with federal regulatory requirements as mandated by the EPA * Conduct audits and inspections of protocols, study activities, data, and final reports * Travel within the United States to inspect facilities * Write and submit audit and inspection reports * Maintain communication and develop sound relationships with monitored groups * Stay current with trends and regulatory requirements * Conduct training for Good Laboratory Practices Standards (GLPS) and quality assurance * Conduct Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) trial assessments, eco-monitoring audits, and Quality Management Stewardship audits * Review and revise QAU and Divisional SOPs * Acquire training in all aspects of QAU monitoring for Syngenta Seeds * Assist in designing and delivering GLP training to customers and stakeholders * Provide ongoing monitoring of studies and facilities at Syngenta and at contract research organizations (CROs) * Work as a team player within the QAU to be flexible and assist with all assignments Requirements * Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 1 years relevant experience * Experience in Multi-disciplinary studies, GLP Standards, GLP Advisories, QAU and Departmental SOPs * Knowledge of internal QAU memoranda, master schedule system, familiarity with equipment and methods, study protocols and EPA submittal guidelines * Visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Requirements * Previous employment in a scientific position in the areas of field biology, biotechnology, chemistry, analytical laboratory or QA auditor * Experience and knowledge of the EPA FIFRA GLPS * Strong skills in communication, interpersonal relationships, organizational knowledge, planning and organization, standard office software and problem solving * Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, handle multiple tasks through prioritization, give and concern for standards, attention to detail and thoroughness * Flexibility to ensure submission deadlines are met What We Offer: * Full Benefit Package (Medical, Dental & Vision) that starts the same day you do * 401k plan with company match, Profit Sharing & Retirement Savings Contribution * Paid Vacation, 12 Paid Holidays, Maternity and Paternity Leave, Education Assistance, Wellness Programs, Corporate Discounts among others * A culture that promotes work/life balance, celebrates diversity and offers numerous family-oriented events throughout the year Syngenta is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion or any other employment practices for reasons of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
