Quality Assurance Associate - Entry Level

Job Description Job Description KSR Foam and Technical Products, LLC is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. This is an entry-level position where, as part of a team, you will maintain and advance quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results.

Excellent communication, leadership skills, and knowledge of CAD programs and blueprint reading are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail. Job Description Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; reject and return unacceptable materials. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.

Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirm re-work. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; input data into quality database. Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; call for repairs.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read technical publications- including ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100D standards. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
