MAJOR DUTIES

  • Works closely with teams, (developers, architects, business analysts) from other disciplines in order to effectively test projects/issues

  • Works closely with Business Analyst (BA) and Development team members to ensure projects delivered are on time and as free of defects as possible.

  • Develop strong documentation that proves the quality of an issue(s) under review. This documentation includes but isn't limited to testing plans, test strategies, test cases and/or testing matrix.

  • Build a deep understanding of the products that will require scrutiny for quality assurance.

  • Work closely with the BA team in order to accurately define if requirements are feasible based upon current product structure.

  • Application of testing methodology/methodologies to most successfully ensure quality on a given project.

  • Collaborative development with the other disciplines within information systems (development, business analysts, database, multimedia).

  • Organization and Interpersonal skills - Ability to deal with and balance multiple priorities.

  • Passion for defining details and constantly looking for flaws within our system/projects in hopes to define a better product.

  • Proven ability to communicate information and ideas in spoken or written form so that others will understand.

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate projects to determine best approach/methodology to ensure delivery of a quality project.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and rapid change.

  • Highly self-motivated and delivery focused.

  • Takes responsibility for achieving results, overcomes obstacles and adapts approach.

VIEW JOBS 1/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-16T00:00 ROLE SUMMARY First level position with training in statistical sampling and inspection of incoming materials, filled products, packaged products, and processes for conformance to approved written specifications, SOPs, cGMPs, and FDA regulations. Requires training in physical testing. Is able to perform sampling and inspection without constant supervision. Operates some technical equipment with training. Work schedule to be Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday - TBD ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: 1. Performs physical testing of components with supervision from a senior inspector. 2. Reports any problems found during inspection to the Senior Inspector. 3. Samples and inspects components, drug product containers, packaging and labeling according to approved written material specifications, engineering drawings, artwork, and specimen labeling. 4. Samples and inspects product operations for each new control per product line and initial line inspections to assure the identity, quality, and trace ability of incoming product materials according to current SOPs. 5. Follows GMP documentation practices in manufacturing and packaging batch records. 6. Accompanies Inspector III or IV in performing room inspections, in-process checks, and verifications for various production areas. 7. Accompanies Inspector III or IV in performing sampling for laboratory control testing, stability testing, and other special purposes. 8. Performs checks on packaging lines (example - container fill volumes and quantity) and trains to inspect finished product for defects in assembly and variations in package or product quality. 9. Understands and recognizes product status such as Approved, Hold, Rejected, etc. 10. Reviews manufacturing and packaging batch records. 11. Understands Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. 12. Understands and utilizes ANSI sampling plans 13. Recognizes and reports problems and adverse quality events to Senior Inspector. QUALIFICATIONS * HS/GED with one year general work experience and one to three months related experience and/or successful completion of a job-specific training program or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge Necessary to Perform the Job: 1. Knowledge of 21 CFR 210 and 211 cGMPs and part 11 to determine materials disposition. Acceptable visual acuity is a Snellen fraction of 20/25 or greater. They must have normal color vision by Ishihara screening. Position requires regular onsite attendance – this position cannot be performed on a remote or telecommute basis on a temporary, short or long term basis. Must have the ability to simultaneously multi-task across multiple capabilities and functions and handle multiple competing priorities and requirements, including performing site and functional responsibilities, responding to frequent e-mail and phone communications and attending multiple meetings and conference calls. Note that these activities may not be time bound to core hours or presence at the site. Must have the ability to work effectively under and manage to strict production, time and performance deadlines.
