This position is responsible for the development and execution of test plans and scripts based off of pre-approved Business Requirements Documents and Business Domain Knowledge. Scripts can be tested on multiple computer platforms (e.g. Windows, Mac, Android, iOS) to verify the cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility of the software delivered by our development team.
Develop best practices for QA efforts and communication and documentation.
Effectively communicate and document testing results and project updates.
Support QA team when help is needed on other projects.
Participate in BRD reviews to identify potential issues that can affect product quality.
Work with Business Analysts to develop and maintain test scenarios, scripts and test plans.
Estimate level of QA effort for testing.
Work with other departments on investigating software quality issues, report and track them to resolution.
Improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage thru lessons learned.
Assist in post-implementation, continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications.
Identify product performance issues during new product development.
Develop, Document and Maintain testing strategies and testing scenarios.
Work directly with Software Engineers on issue resolution.
You will need:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Minimum (3) years of experience with QA and testing methodologies or equivalent relevant payments industry experience.
Minimum (3) years of experience analyzing system and application failures and bugs.
Experience in test automation.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to write, debug and maintain test scads/scripts.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic, and timeline sensitive work environment.
Ability to understand technical issues at a high level .
Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines .
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.
It would be great if you had:
Good understanding of Payment Industry concepts and best practices.
