We are searching for a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst that will join our team in our Chicago office. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the disposition of the final product and ensures compliance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures, cGMPs, SOPS, and PBA standard requirement documents. The Analyst will work a collaborative environment that includes our Quality Assurance, development, and client support teams by helping perform tasks for ongoing projects, and project status tracking. This is a full-time exempt role that reports directly to the Head of Quality Assurance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Record, evaluate, and document daily automation results
Establish test frameworks from scratch (Integration, Regression, Performance/Load)
Manual/Automated QA testing
Develop and document test plans based on requirements
Assign QA release status and disposition to approve finished products
Generate metrics that reflect the quality of a release
Performs additional tasks requested by supervisor and manager
Update and maintain QA database for retrieval of reports
Maintains accurate records of controlled document files and test records in a timely manner
Participate in daily stand-up meetings and communicate status updates
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
4-year college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or related degree in a Quantitative discipline
At least 2 years in a QA role including 1-3 years of technical experience
Minimum 1+ years of unit test automation
Fluent in C#
Experience with Python and Java is a plus
Working knowledge of SQL, Selenium a plus
Experience with FIX protocol
Previous exposure to the financial markets and familiarity with derivatives trading.
Understanding of algorithmic trading engines
Working knowledge of trading GUIs
Experience testing with statistical methods and data analytics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with all levels of staff.
Detailed oriented with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Work in a high energy environment and ownership of tasks
Professional, motivated attitude
Available to work in a hybrid environment (minimum 3+ days in office per week) at our downtown Chicago state of the art office
Local to Chicagoland area only or willing to relocate to Chicago
