The Quality Assurance Analyst tests and quality assures all programs, application modules and products of moderate to high complexity created by the Development Department using systematic quality assurance techniques. The QA Analyst provides support for various modules to customers, peers and management with diagnostic troubleshooting assistance and strives to further organizational and company goals.


Duluth, Georgia


  • Test and validate program modules to meet specifications and standards.

  • Conduct thorough and accurate testing of client/server and web-based applications.

  • Validate all written documentation for assignments for accuracy and completion.

  • Validate releases prior to distribution.

  • Create and maintain test plans and test cases for all testing assignments.

  • Adhere to and assist in the development of standards and procedures.

  • Document software defects in the issue-tracking system and proactively communicate with software developers.

  • Provide guidance to new and existing staff in developing QA skills.

  • Assist in the identification of new procedures, methods and/or tools to improve the efficiency of the QA process.

  • Assist in the design and requirements for new products.

  • Provide analysis and consulting support for development and support employees.

  • Assist in the training of other QA staff through formal classes when new processes are introduced to help ensure consistency throughout the department.

  • Gain proficiency in multiple Energov products and multiple product teams.

  • Identify manual test cases for test automation.

  • Execute automated test scripts and evaluate results.

  • Stay abreast of changes in the company's computer environment including such areas as operating systems, utilities and hardware.

  • Remain up-to-date with QA industry standards, principles and practices.

  • Work directly with clients for gathering information to be used for product design or for diagnosing urgent issues

The QA Analyst must be able to:

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in software development and quality assurance.

  • Work directly with customers to help diagnose urgent issues.


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Sciences, Management Information Science, or Business. Equivalent work experience may substitute for degree requirement.

  • Prior experience in software quality assurance required; Tyler software or related experience helpful.

  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills involving sound decision making and effective resolutions.

  • Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices preferred.

  • Familiarity with basic coding and/or scripting is required.

  • Full software development lifecycle familiarity is strongly preferred.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple work streams effectively.

  • Strong time management skills with proven track record of delivering successful results.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills involving the ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical and non-technical information.

  • Firm knowledge and experience with relational databases including solid knowledge and understanding of SQL and query writing.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team.

  • Ability to maintain a test environment effectively with regards to products, tools, data and related aspects.

  • Ability to be effective in a fast paced environment.

  • Mobile Application Experience will be very helpful, testing iPad, Surface Tablets app, iPhone & Android Phone Apps.

The PMO Manager is expected to be a mentor and advisor to less experienced staff and a thought-leader and ambassador for Tyler project management processes. In addition, the PMO Manager is responsible for overseeing the work of all PMO personnel. The PMO Manager is responsible for creating a culture that drives the Professional Services staff toward a high level of client satisfaction to ensure successful implementations, which can be highlighted in the sales process. Helping to coach the Professional Services team(s) on effective communication, setting proper expectations, resolving problems, and following through on client commitments will be equally important. The PMO Manager frequently works with Sales Enablement to assess and analyze the competitive market space to better understand the types of services clients value. In the area of financial responsibility, the PMO Manager ensures complete and accurate financial reports for budget, revenue projections, and team utilization are provided in a timely manner. Communicating to the team about new or revised procedures, as well as holding the team accountable for following the new policies outlined will also be a key responsibility. Location Duluth, Georgia ResponsibilitiesThe PMO Manager must be able to: * Understand implementation processes, methods, and deliverables * Achieve results without having direct control over all resources and be able to leverage these results across internal and external departments * Provide leadership to Professional Services staff to achieve project, team, and individual goals * Collaborate with Tyler resources to solve complex business issues * Analyze processes and initiate process improvements * Communicate clearly and effectively with various internal personnel at multiple levels * Build rapport with employees while actively influencing events and negotiating changes to achieve organizational goals * Incorporate new information, make quick decisions, and keep the appropriate people informed of rapidly occurring developments Other Duties Include the Ability to: * Collaborate with other Department Managers to develop and implement best practices for the organization * Develop new and improve pre-existing processes and continually reevaluate standards to meet changing business needs * Develop new and improve pre-existing tools, templates, and documentation to support processes put in place as standards for implementation * Maintain knowledge base of standard processes, tools, and templates * Provide or oversee ongoing training of staff regarding revisions to standard processes * Obtain regular feedback from staff and/or clients regarding project quality and paint points to continually find ways to improve processes to ensure an efficient and effective client experience * Engage with Sales Enablement team to ensure contract negotiations follow appropriate process and protect the interests of Professional Services * Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff * May provide guidance to implementation resources to maximize performance and deliver expected revenue goals * Assist in ensuring proper distribution and allocation of resources * Analysis and reporting of financial data.
