Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Statistical Process Control program, track department performance, and serve as internal lead auditor.

  • Work with responsible departments in developing cause and corrective actions.

  • Hold daily MRB meetings, and conduct QMS and SOX audits.

  • Assist in titration testing.

  • Assist in QMS document control and training.

  • Support manufacturing from Quality Assurance perspective and participate in continuous improvement, preventive actions and other quality-based programs.

  • Participate in establishing and reviewing internal and customer-required root cause and corrective actions.

  • Promote quality improvements through action plans, C/A, P/A, and C/I follow-up.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years' experience in Quality.

  • Training in use of Statistical Process Control.

  • Proficient in Excel and Word programs.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Must demonstrate analytical skills in problem solving, and team building and leadership abilities.

VIEW JOBS 12/5/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-04T00:00 Job Description Support quality for current and future manufacturing requirements and determine the most effective methods to improve productivity through the management of people and technology. * Ensure that all contractual and regulatory quality requirements are defined and communicated on assigned programs. * Support all departments to ensure control of both in-process quality and final quality of product. * Provide customer interface on quality issues and problem resolution * Collaborate with sales, purchasing, production, bidding, and contract management to establish quality procedures to meet customer requirements * Interface with vendors to correct problems dealing with purchased materials. * Provide manufacturing engineering support including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions to resolve problems in product manufacture. * Assist in defining and monitoring the quality management system * Adhere to the General Requirements of Team Members * Perform other assignments as required Required Skills & Qualifications: * Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards. * Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings required * Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities. * Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired. * Intermediate level of computer skills in email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project, and MRP/EAP. * Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers and project company image to attract business. * Leadership skills—people management, meeting facilitation, and customer support * Negotiation and conflict management skills together with demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem-solving. * Bachelor's degree required.
