Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience. Master's Degree and 4 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. An Apprentice Certificate or graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

Provide continuous oversight of work completion and progressing
Familiarity with multiple types of work documents (IRs, DRs, nuclear TWDs, non-nuclear TWDs, production orders) in open and closed status
How to gather documents and follow a paper trail to ensure all associated documents are assessed
Able to assess compliance of hardware to the technical direction provided in work documents
Experience Writing Significant Defect Reports (SDRs)
Experience entering surveillance of work control document in a database (QUAAD)
Constantly verify work completion on the prototype
Strong verbal and written communication skills. There will be constant interface with production personnel, engineering and planning.
DDMS, SAP, QUAAD, SWiMS and COGNOS knowledge is a plus
Experience and use of complex procedures with ability to understand requirements
Experience in electrical operations, maintenance, testing, and repairs
Strong knowledge of the certification process and the importance of signatures
