What you'll do
This position requires baseline experience that will provide opportunity to grow into a coordinator role upon completion of training and further development in the function.
Quality technician/administrative position experience is required and preferrred to be in a manufacuring environment.
The Quality Administrator conducts quality control activities associated with inspection, material traceability, labeling, and release of The Gund Company products at the manufacturing site. Team member reports to the Quality Coordinator or Specialist to comply with customer specific requirements and the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements relating to their functions.
Essential Job Functions
Execute site level Quality Management System requirements including but not limited to:
o Non-conforming and corrective action processes
o Calibration process
o Production Part Approvals (PPAP)
o First Article Inspection (FAI)
o Quality at the source (In-process Inspection Audits)
o Reports and records associated with customer requirements
o Receiving inspection plans and execution
Participate in identifying and implementing quality system improvements including procedure improvements to functions such as in process inspection and calibration
Participate in team improvement projects including Kaizen events and other lean initiatives.

Education & Experience
A high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Control Technician or production operator in an ISO9001 or aviation/space/defense (AS9100) environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
American Society for Quality (ASQ) certified Quality Technician preferred
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience with data entry in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to use measuring hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, vision systems and others
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong math skills related to reading and converting technical drawings
Strong computer skills especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
