Job Overview
Quality & reliability technician is responsible for helping enhance quality, improve safety, and implement the constant development of projects to maximize output. The quality technician collaborates with Quality engineers and the quality manager to do continuing the system development. Under general direction, perform finished product and in-process testing procedures and provide resulting information to Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering as required by specification or as assigned by management. The quality technician works closely with quality management, manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.
Primary responsibilities (Task, Duties Performed and Essential Functions).
Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
Perform all in-process and finished product testing as required by specification or as assigned by management.
Enter correct data into database, perform analysis of data, and report trends that indicate process issues.
Coordinate with QA Leadership, Shift Supervisor/Leader, Process Engineer, and other Operations team members to resolve issues or discrepancies.
Actively participate in safety, product, and compliance audits.
Plan, manage and execute all calibration activities.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the QA and Operations teams.
Assist the Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).
Communicate effectively with external and internal customers as well as co-workers to solve problems and enhance capabilities of the team.
Support product & process failure root cause analysis.
Other appropriate duties as assigned.
Monday to Friday 7 am to 3 pm.

BUSINESS & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
Education / Work Experience
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Certifications: Must maintain internal QA Lab Inspector Certification that documents acceptable job knowledge and adherence to required procedures.
Work Experience: Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training. Must be familiar with commonly accepted standard lab testing concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience using Personal computers with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Windows, and Word
Language: English (Read, write, speak, understand)

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $39,440 - $59,160 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
