Summary:
This on-site position is responsible for implementing the Children's Health System of Texas (CHST) quality strategic initiatives. Works closely with CHST quality senior leadership, facility senior leadership, and clinical leaders to facilitate CHST quality programming. This includes: identifying and addressing quality improvement opportunities within CHST quality programs, and developing and continuously improving systems to ensure the reporting and dissemination of quality data, best practices, and education throughout CHST. The incumbent leverages expertise in quality improvement to promote the delivery of high-quality care across CHST.:
Responsibilities:
Accountable for the deployment of system-wide quality programming throughout CHST
Facilitates and coordinates quality initiatives to address improvement opportunities throughout the network. This includes the facilitation of CHST participating in national quality initiatives and collaboratives
Leverages quality improvement expertise to infuse continuous quality improvement throughout the network
Manages large scale quality projects
Promotes continuous improvement of the CHST quality program to meet the needs of patients and families
Presents quality program data/information to physicians, clinical leaders, staff, and CHST senior leadership as appropriate
Actively engages in national quality collaboratives to maintain knowledge of best practices and build effective relationships with collaborative partners
How You'll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years Clinical healthcare experience Req
At least 3 years' Experience in quality, process improvement, or equivalent Req
EDUCATION
Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Req
Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Pref
