Job Description:

  • Both Qlik and Spot fire experience REQUIRED; Design and build queries, reports, and dashboards using business intelligence tools adhering to established frameworks and standards

  • Analyze a collection of raw data sets to create meaningful impact to large business customers while maintaining a high degree of scientific rigor and discipline.

  • Actively participate in and influence discussions around reporting requirements, infrastructure needs, and design

  • Consistently deliver high-quality business intelligence solutions and services to clients on schedule

  • Bring structure to ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions that can be easily interpreted by users

  • Follow, maintain and improve all documentation and procedures for report design and production

  • Sponsor teamwork and encourage collaboration

  • Influence business process improvements by integrating data/tools with people/purpose.

  • Provide thought leadership, best practices, and standards required to deliver effective solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience total with demonstrated reporting, analytical, developer, and database experience

  • Work experience in Pharma industry particularly in Clinical Trial space is a big plus.

  • Self-motivated, well-rounded, analytical self-starter with ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, Agile team environment with aggressive deadlines, regular releases and multiple priorities

  • Sound understanding of BI best practices/ methodologies; experience with relational structures, structured query language (SQL), data warehouse and reporting techniques.

  • Capabilities include designing scalable data architectures, solution performance tuning.

  • Proficiency in visualization/reporting tool and data visualization concepts particularly Spotfire Qlik Sense & QlikView

  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, and organize data to solve complex problems

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with business and systems personnel

What you'll do: Responsible for all operational and advanced purchasing activities within the assigned commodities while ensuring compliance with overall JCI objectives, strategies and procedures. Is responsible for the management of supplier relationships within the assigned commodity groups. Responsible for reporting to senior management on activities and business impact, and development of strategies to support broader initiatives. How you will do it: * Coordination of Purchasing activities on NPI programs to ensure successful product launches with emphasis on source selection, supplier engagement and cost optimization * Control and approval of all Program Purchasing activities specified in the product development process and decisions in line with customer demands and commodity strategies. Enable engineering with applied industry expertise. * Engage with the Category Management team to ensure alignment on commodity strategies and execution of business moves and supplier-improvement actions * Ensure smooth new product launches by controlling the acquisition, sourcing on time, in line with cost target, maintaining purchasing results through release to sale and follow-on life cycle management * Guarantee financial control over complex, modular programs * Ensure the cost-, quality and time-oriented supply of all required goods, materials, equipment and services under compliance with the respective business plans, budgets and targets * Initiate and support of proper Make/Buy & insource/outsource decisions * Initiate and support cost modeling & related activities (incl.
