Our client, a powerhouse in the food & beverage manufacturing/production industry, is experiencing largescale growth and they are looking for a detail-oriented, dedicated Quality Control & Assurance Technician to join their team immediately! This is an amazing opportunity for new graduates and entry-level QA/QC Technicians that are looking for a long-term fit with a company that prides itself in the care and assurance it provides its employees and customers! Not only do our clients care for the quality of the product shipped to and received by customers, they go the extra mile by ensuring they use environmentally sustainable packaging options - making this a company you can feel good about working for! While working this opportunity, you can expect to be onsite Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with a starting rate of $20.50. With a variety of tasks being presented to the QA/QC Technicians, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow on a personal and professional level! During this opportunity, you can expect to:
Daily
Lab Calibrations for pH meter, Agtron, and Moisture Meter
Sample all products produced
Read micro plates and enter data
Submit production paperwork for management review
Microplate all samples for the day
Complete GMP plant walkthrough
Clean lab area including counters, lab equipment, sample fridges, and incubators
Organize retain cooler/verify organization
Complete QA swab form
Complete QA Pre-op form
Weekly task:
Cupping new lots
Finish all raw incoming work
Verify refractometers
Verify pipettes
Monthly Tasks:
Environmental swabs
Water testing
Complete lab/cooler inventory data collection
Sort through retains, dispose of old ones
Calibrate pipettes
Calibrate scales
Verify thermometers
Ideal Skills:
Quality assurance, gmp, Manufacturing, Production, Machine operator, Sanitation, Quality control, FDA, Blender, Mixer, Batch Mixer, Quality Tech, Quality Test, Quality Technician, pH Test, Chemistry, Food safety, Laboratory
Must Haves:
Strong communication skills, as this candidate will be working directly with all departments
Ability to troubleshoot
Computer skills - experience working with Excel
