QC Technician

We are looking for a Quality Control Technician I who thrives in a fast-paced environment, that will support a wide variety of Quality responsibilities including raw material sampling, setting up testing profile and perform physical testing adhere to follow all cGMP and HACCP guidelines.

What you'll do:

• Conducts initial physical tests in accordance with established procedures, SOP's, in order to approve plant batches. Organize investigation on problems associated with all finished products, including reviewing and printing result history from JDE.

• Audits and verifies that products are in specification; makes necessary adjustments to bring batch into acceptable specification limits.

• Maintains control samples in the QC lab that are representative of approved batches. Calibrate/Verify analytical equipment using registered standards.

• Some weekday and weekend overtime will be required, on occasion and may need to provide coverage on other shifts, on occasion, when vacation coverage is needed.

• May provide support to the micro lab, plating, etc. as needed and may assist with writing or revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for lab testing.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or significant experience in a physical/analytical lab.

• Good working knowledge of aseptic sampling techniques.

• Good mathematic aptitude and personal hygiene.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Working knowledge of JDE and Microsoft office preferred. Good knowledge of cGMP, SQF and HACCP preferred.
