Kelaca is looking for a Quality Manager for our client partner in Louisburg, NC. The Quality Manager leads a team including Quality Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, and Quality Specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with regulatory and industry standard requirements.
- Conducts training, audits, and reviews, analyzes data, writes, and approves documentation related to maintenance and continuous improvement of quality processes.
- Responsible for timely management and input of quality reporting.
- Actively involved with the shipping & receiving department, including, but not limited to, incoming and outgoing quality inspection, order loading and production.
- Provides leadership in resolving customer complaints by forming teams to determine root cause and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Develops and implements company and regulatory quality standards.
- Knowledge of industry and governmental quality regulations.
- Audits, reviews, and analyzes quality data according to existing documents and procedures. Develop policies or methods to improve production quality checks.
- Contributes to complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
- Manages Quality staff, training, and assignment work to complete required evaluations and testing on time.
- Interpret and support quality departmental standards.
- Assist in implementation and sustain ISO standards (QMS).
- Supervise the input of testing & inspection data.
- Motivate and maintain employee responsiveness and cooperation & effectiveness.
- Perform audits of products & processes. Report audit results.
- Manage & analyze data from the Priority ERP database using process control and analysis tools.
- Validate and report results of data analysis performed by others.
- Creating documentation of quality procedures. In some cases, managing processes that were documented.
- Conduct training of employees on Quality-related topics. Conduct testing & evaluations to assure training efficacy.
- Rating and ranking of departmental employees.
- Manage instrumentation calibration and control.
- Ensuring quarantine and disposition of non-conforming product.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, proficient with all Microsoft applications
- Exceptional analytical skills, safe work practices and pursue efficiency at all times.
- Ability to learn and work with various computer programs (Including MS Office)
- Statistical, data driven thinking, self-motivated, excellent time management, dependable.
- Exceptional attitude with the ability to collaborate with others in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to understand and participate in Statistical Process Control (SPC) projects and activities.
- Ability to create & organize data and good file management.
- Must have 20/20 vision (with correction if necessary) & no color blindness or inability to judge color hues.

Hours of Work in Office: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm
