JOB SUMMARY
Maintains records required to maintain accreditation to ACR, MQSA and other agencies. Performs diagnostic, screening and interventional mammography procedures as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: An individual who has completed a program in radiological technology. Must meet the experience and educational requirements of the FDA (MQSA) to perform mammography procedures.
Experience: Must have one year of experience in one of San Antonio Regional Hospital's radiology departments or 2 years' experience in an outside facility as a mammographer.
Knowledge and Skills: Must be a good communicator and be able to establish a teamwork environment.
License/Certifications: An individual who holds and maintains (via required continuing education credits) current certifications from the ARRT (both diagnostic and mammography), CRT, a California fluoroscopy permit, and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR card.
Equipment: Personal computer RIS, HIS, PACS, and Microsoft office suite.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$38.42 - $56.12

Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate's individual experience.
