QC Lab Technician III (Temp-To-Hire)

In addition to applying for the position, Kagome Inc. requires all applicants to take participate in Predictive Index which includes a Behavioral Assessment and Cognitive Assessment. JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

• Perform calibrations prior to shift initiation.

• Support the production line by providing analytical testing per frequency schedule.

• Monitors and upholds the standards of food safety and quality by inspections on the production floor.

• Support post-CIP ATP testing & Allergen Testing of processing equipment when required.

• Completes shelf-life studies testing per frequency schedule.

• Completes technician certifications per frequency schedule.

• Completes required training and assessments as required.

• Lab is left in ready to work conditions for sequential shift. Lab is to be left cleaned, with floors mopped, utensils cleaned, and equipment reagents filled.

• Accurately follows written laboratory procedures.

Support the review, understanding, and compliance of all programs, policies, and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Understand that I am responsible for reporting food safety issues observed so appropriate action can be taken.

Other duties as directed by the Sr. Quality Lab Manager and Sr. Director of Quality Systems.

Internal Contacts:

Direct contact with all Plant Management staff and R&D.

External Contacts:

Be diplomatic and clear as a Customer and Supplier liaison when required by Management.

Education Level and Focus:

Minimum high school diploma. Some college courses field preferred.

Years and Type of Related Experience Required:

Food Manufacturing experience a plus.
