QC Lab Tech 1st shift

Job Description:

• Perform the running and testing of automated instrumentation in a Lab setting.

• Under direct supervision, perform general laboratory duties ranging from very basic to moderate complexity in the fields of chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or other technical specialization.

• Perform automated and manual testing of assays.

• Interpret test results against specifications and decides if assays pass or fail.

• Maintain documentation of all work performed in accordance with GMP requirements.

• Perform product stability, proficiency, and environmental testing (Orangeburg).

• Responsible for routine preventive maintenance, general troubleshooting, general cleanliness, and calibration of Lab equipment.

• Perform the wash down and cleaning the instrumentation after scientific testing is completed.

• Looking for an associates, certificate, or BS degree in the sciences.

• Comfortable with reagent, solution, and human blood preparation or handling.

• Able to operate a variety of laboratory equipment such as medical devices, centrifuge and other equipment as needed.

• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Excel and Word.
