Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Support product release and lab operation activities as required, e.g. testing, data review, data trending, batch record review, and release activities for raw materials and finished products in compliance with B. Braun procedures, specifications and cGMP requirements. Responsible for reviewing, writing, and execution of validations. Perform variety of routine and non routine tasks including non-conformance and OOS investigation for laboratory and manufacturing operations, writing investigation reports, protocols and updating procedures and other documents. Responsible for Metrology program within the assigned area. Support stability and other Pharm.D. projects.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties

  • Plans and organizes chemical analysis of starting material, in process and finished product and stability studies and ensure adherence to approved test methods, specifications, procedures, equipment operating instruments and guidelines.

  • Responsible for the overall system of compilation, preparation and release of test results/ reports.

  • Conducts chemical analysis and experiments to develop new knowledge, materials, processes and products.

  • Analyzes samples from various sources to provide information on different materials.

  • Develops new techniques to analyze chemicals.

  • Collaborates with specialists to interpret data and writes reports about the results.

  • Analyzes test information to determine process efficiency and works on improvements.

  • Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.

  • Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems

  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Will ensure compatibility and safety processes at all time for each job and lab pack services provided to customers. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. * Assist in the segregation of chemicals by hazard class; packing compatible materials in appropriate containers and preparing for transportation; completing necessary paperwork per job. * Determines and loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services. * Assists in characterizing materials at field project sites. * Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials. * Develop good client relations by effectively communicating with Customers. * Directs Field Technicians/Drivers assisting with waste collection. * Introductory knowledge of high hazard materials management /assessment and cylinder handling.
