Job Description

Support the QC Lab to provide raw material, in-process, and final product testing following established methods and under GMP compliance. Conduct wet chemistry and general lab testing, including Sieve Analysis, Thin Layer Chromatography, and Loss on Drying. You will also be trained to perform HPLC testing, FTIR, Uv-Vis, and other relevant tests. Document all results in a lab notebook following GMP/GDP guidelines. Handle high throughput testing (12 - 16 tests/day) and weighing/sample preparation of materials ranging from 50mg to 1g.

Responsibilities

• Perform HPLC testing, FTIR, Uv-Vis, and other relevant tests after training.
• Document all results in a lab notebook following GMP/GDP guidelines.
• Handle high throughput testing (12 - 16 tests/day).
• Weigh and prepare samples of materials ranging from 50mg to 1g.

Essential Skills

• BS Degree in Chemistry or related science.
• Strong math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Lab documentation experience.
• Ability to follow lab protocols and direction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to HPLC in school is a strong plus.
• Understanding of integration software or utilizing Excel for analysis is a plus.

Work Environment

Collaborative testing environment in a newer and very spacious lab. The team consists of a mix of tenured and more junior employees. The work shift is Monday through Friday with flexible start times as early as 7:00 AM and ending by 5:30 PM. The standard shift is 8 hours plus a 30-minute lunch, with a consistent start and end time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
