The QA/QC Manager is responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Program. This position will apply Quality Control Program standards in accordance with project specifications to meet customer requirements. It is essential to possess strong communication and public speaking skills, use of effective time management, and ability to create consistency among processes. Critical for success is the ability to work independently and strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. Inspect and evaluate the work area in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract documents, reporting deficiencies as appropriate and elevating issues as needed to ensure safe work practices and quality. Develop, gather, maintain, and/or submit work plans, submittals, reports, etc. Ensure that subcontractors are aware of all project quality control policies and procedures. Perform field verification that quality control policies are being followed. Conduct periodic reviews of the Project Quality Control Plan to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness. Verify and document that all materials/equipment received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately, and are acceptable for use in the project; check for damaged and defective materials and address. The anticipated salary range is: $96,000 to $125,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
Desired Qualifications:
OSHA Safety Quality Certifications
QA/QC Certification in ISO or the American Society for Quality
Other related quality experience and/or certifications
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination
