Summary/Objective
The QAQC Assistant Manager manages and supports the overall project Quality standards and needs of our complex project types in our Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing core markets throughout the United States. They will support Project Managers, Superintendents, and other operations and MEP personnel in the planning, scheduling, management, and execution of the Evans Quality Program on assigned Projects. The QAQC Assistant Manager should be able to manage the QAQC process for MEP installations from Factory Witness Testing, Equipment Delivery and Installation, through to Integrated Systems Testing and building turnover. The QAQC Assistant Manager should also manage the inspections and quality process for CSLA (Civil, Structural, Landscape, and Architectural) trades. The QAQC Assistant Manager will be assigned to/work from Evans' job sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
Implement the Evans Project Specific Quality Program on assigned projects.
Facilitate the QAQC Inspection Process for MEP Equipment from Factory Witness Testing through final Commissioning. Includes generation and administration of Installation and Pre-Energization Checklists.
Participate in Trade pre-installation meetings to verify that each trade has an understanding of the project's QC requirements before beginning work on site.
Monitor construction activities and review materials and equipment delivered to the project for adherence to specifications.
Establish and manage the First of Kind installation process with trade partners, operations team, design team, and owner to set Benchmark Installations for all major and repetitive installations for the project.
Understand Specifications and Drawings as it relates to installation quality requirements for both MEP and CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) trades.
Support the Operations team (Superintendents, Project Managers, MEP Managers, etc.) on issue resolution and tracking with trade partners to support the Overall Project Schedule.
Coordinate with trade partners for inspection paperwork, manage and train the team on software and tools required to manage and execute the quality program.
Participate in Trade pre-installation meetings to verify that each Trade has an understanding of the Project's QC requirements before beginning work on site.
Coordinate with trade partners for inspection paperwork, manage testing reports and train on software tools for best practices and consistency.
Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with Owner, Onsite Project Team, Consultants/Architect/Engineers, and Trade Partners

Qualifications/Requirements
Prior experience with Construction, MEP, Mission Critical, and/or Commissioning Quality Control is required.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering is preferred, but industry hires with relevant experience are desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction industry, 5+ years is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
Self-starter with a high degree of personal responsibility and integrity
Detail Oriented
Ability to multitask
Flexible work hours
Assignment will be to a specific job site depending on project size, or will require travel to multiple job sites as needed
Proficient with QA/QC systems, platforms, and technologies that allow for tracking, metrics, and reporting, i.e. Cx Alloy, BIM 360 Field, Autodesk Construction Cloud platform
Proficient with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), Bluebeam, and various project management tools.
