Job Purpose

Serves as the quality assurance and training assistant responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance/quality control procedures and policies. Helps develop, implement, and maintain the training program for inspection personnel and frontline supervisors. Performs assigned tasks independently using personal discretion and judgment. Assists the operations department with station coverage. Receives general guidance from the supervisor relative to overall functional goals and objectives to be achieved.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and maintains training information and modules with the assistance of the Training Manager.
Keep assigned portions of the emission inspection training modules current.
Conducts classroom, computer-based, and on-site training for employees to ensure state certification is obtained.
Assists with conducting periodic audits of inspection facilities to determine personnel testing adequacy and management practices and identify potential problems.
Assess procedure compliance at testing facilities.
Assists with training all new hires to get all new hires certified.
Responsible for the coaching and training of personnel - on an ongoing basis.
Assists with station coverage on an as-needed basis.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
Responsible for oversight of the Safety Program for all locations
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Two years' experience in vehicle emission testing and training.
Advanced knowledge of emissions testing procedures and station operations.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Statistical analysis experience preferred.
Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
