We are looking for Quality Assurance Video GameTesters to work on our next amazing project.

This is a temporary,full-time, entry-level position located in El Segundo, California which pays $13.25/hour. Youmust be available to work full-time (40+ hours/week) through December.
1.Basic function:

QA Testers are a support function within the Quality Assurance team. Under the supervision of the project leads and QA management team, they are responsible for testing and generating bug reports for pre-release video games as well as verifying functionality, data content, performance, 1st Party Compliance, usability/playability, and hardware/software compatibility. This is a temporary position based in our office in El Segundo.
2.Duties and

  • Assists in executing the QA project test plan by performing thorough testing on assigned software titles. This can include functionality, balance, stability, performance, interface, art, sound, text, documentation, and other types of testing.

  • Identifies and documents defects in a clear and concise manner using the assigned bug tracking database.

  • Assists the Production/Development team in tracking down issues and working out the steps to reproduce so that they are easier to locate and fix.

  • Completes regression/verification testing as needed.

  • Follows instructions and accomplishes tasks as directed by the QA Project Lead or QA Management.
    3.Requirements :


  • Experience and familiarity with multiple gaming platforms and genres.

  • Experience with Quality Assurance testing of software projects (desired).

  • Understanding of the software test cycle process (desired).

  • PC and console game troubleshooting (desired).


  • 18 years of age or older.

  • Excellent written/spoken English.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong interest in video games.

  • Must possess excellent communication skills.

  • Sharp attention to detail.

  • Team player.

  • Honesty and a strong work ethic.

  • Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively.

  • Ability to remain focused in a team-oriented environment.

  • Availability to work forty or more hours per week including weekends, when required.

As the QA Engineer – Automation, you will be responsible for testing functionality and validating e-commerce sites using test automation techniques. This is a development engineering role and the ideal candidate will have knowledge in programming and analysis, and the ability to work in conjunction with the QA Analysts. The Software QA Engineer role is critical to growing test automation into new business units and expanding regression suites in existing ones. This position will report to the Senior Manager, QA. Responsibilities: * Develop, document, and maintain automation test suites and other test artifacts like test data and data validation, as well as identify use-cases, negative testing, etc. * Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results * Back-end database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs and jobs and triggers where applicable * Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plan * Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members * Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management * Help with issue classification and Triage - isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes * Be a thought leader in advancing the QA program – identifying areas for optimization, efficiency, and increased coverage Qualifications: * 3+ years of relevant QA technical experience within an agile (continuous deployment) environment, preferably in ecommerce and start-ups * Programming in an interpreted language, preferably Python * Strong web testing and QA Methodologies within SDLC (Smoke, Regression, etc.) * Experience with Black-Box testing cross-browsers and mobile devices – creating functional, boundary, edge, etc. test cases * Experience with White/Grey-Box testing * Basic SQL syntax for data validation * Working knowledge of web/mobile debugging and inspection tools (Firebug, Fiddler, Charles, etc.) * Experience with automation tools and test frameworks * Understands Behavioral Driven Development (Cucumber and Gherkin are pluses) * Keyword-driven automation, RobotFramework with Selenium is a plus * Ability to understand and create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from requirements or verbal communications * Liaison with development, project management, product owners, and customer support * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Knowledge utilizing Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence/BitBucket) * Other pluses: REST API testing, GIT source control, Jenkins, Linux Command Line, Virtual Machines * BS or BA degree preferred TechStyle is an Equal Opportunity Employer: M/F/PV/D (minority, female, protected veteran, disability) Techstyle Group LLC El Segundo CA
