A Quality Assurance (QA) Lead will be leading all areas related to software testing and QA activities, and work closely with various technology teams to build testing strategies and execution plans. You'll be responsible for both the ongoing monitoring of production versions of our products as well as new product development testing, certification and release. Provides thorough software and system testing to ensure upgrades, enhancements and new applications function accurately. This includes the development of test plans, test cases, test execution and test reporting. Works closely with other IT and business teams to develop subject matter expertise to enable the delivery of a complete suite of Quality Assurance services.
What you'll do:
Lead the QA team and overall QA program, working with product and development teams to deliver world class products to market.
Drive all functional, integration and regression testing necessary to deliver high quality updates to clients consumer, partner and backoffice products.
Collaborate with product and development teams and make recommendations where appropriate to improve product quality and timely delivery of products to market.
Evaluate and recommend QA tools/vendors/products that cost effectively improve QA coverage and ultimately help deliver higher quality product releases.
Maintain testing metrics to measure QA effectiveness and development quality as well as to help predict release timelines based on bug count/new bug/fix rates.
Actively participate in sprint planning by contributing QA deliverable estimates.
Function as a subject matter expert in software QA and maintain an understanding of key digital industry trends, technologies and best practices as they relate to QA.
Directly supervise and lead direct reports - hiring, performance feedback and skills development.
Collaborate with the team to help create and execute on clients strategy to be the leading full stack services provider in the podcasting space.

Extensive experience in applications development QA across varied platforms including mobile and web.
Deep understanding of and familiarity with quality assurance tools such as project management software, bug tracking systems and automation tools.
Experience setting up QA tools and processes for large and small companies, including tools implementation.
Experience building release management processes to ensure timely and transparent feature releases.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple testing engagements simultaneously in a cross-functional environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
Solid working knowledge of mobile and web technologies including infrastructure, as well as app development.
Inclination and capability to take initiative and build out testing methodologies and toolsets from the ground up.
Excellent documentation, communication and presentation skills with the ability to evangelize improvement needs using testing metrics.
Proven success in a fast-paced start-up environment, with a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves approach. Strong track record of executing with sometimes limited resources.
Education & Experience/Certifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and years of experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality assurance role
A testing lead the offshore team is small, currently 1 but will grow to 3 in the coming week
