This position is based in our Austin, TX (Westlake) office.
Responsible for executing pre-defined quality processes and test cases set forth by QA Management.
Coordinates and works with team leads and Game QA Analyst ensuring delivery of consumer based casino style games that exhibit high quality game play and execution.
Applies effective QA methodologies and best practices to help ensure the highest possible quality with maximum efficiency through test script completion and adhoc testing.
Maintains integrity of the defect-tracking database.
Accurately reports testing efforts through test case management software.
Regularly communicates project status to QA Analyst and Management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Knowledge/Work Experience:
0-3 years of experience in a QA role with the ability to comprehend requirements, test plans, test reports, and manual test cases; in-depth understanding of the SDLC.
Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate a variety of technical instructions and documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write detailed reports and correspondences, including but not limited to communicating effectively with developers and all other employees.
Ability to define problems, recommend solutions, and implement those solutions in a resourceful manner.
Demonstrated excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability utilize computer-based applications and tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, FTP, etc.
Comprehensive understanding of Windows Operating Systems and computer hardware.
