Develops policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Responsibilities
Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products.
Build and maintain the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance.
Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards.
Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods
Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience ; Vocational/Technical Training Degree
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
Discipline/Major: Quality or related degree preferred
Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 2-4 years prior experience in a similar position.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise.
Ability to identify and seek needed information. Research skills. Problem-solving skills.
