Position: QA Technician
Reports to QA Manager and responsible for the condition/compliance of company technologies, construction of electrical assemblies, computer data integrity, and annual equipment certifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proficient in computer setup/navigation, equipment wiring, electrical soldering, and custom harness building
Facilitate condition and compliance of company computers at all site locations, as well as backup inventory
Maintain deep understanding of all company specific software, proving interfaces, and technologies
Lead initiatives to maintain proving data integrity, synchronization, and accuracy
Assist with annual certifications for all proving equipment and ancillary tools
Assist with electrical repair requirements of field and shop proving equipment
Assist with the upfit and field verification of new company equipment prior to releasing for everyday service
Maintain communication with Tech I, Tech II, Tech III, and Sr Tech employees for field related electrical/IT diagnosis and support, as needed
Maintain flexibility to travel as needed for: Annual equipment certifications
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Additional company, college or technical school training certificate or degree required

Minimum 1 year of recent IT work experience
Demonstrated proficiency with mathematical concepts such as basic math, probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) software and proving software (ProveIt, PycIt, Prolink, etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency with electrical circuitry, soldering, and schematics analysis
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Frequently required to walk and sit
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license with clean MVR
