JOB SUMMARY

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm

The QA Receiving Associate is primarily responsible for the accurate processing, receipt, and web listing of all products, large and small, on incoming purchase orders and blind bids. Processing and receipt of these items consists of research for pricing and market data, evaluation, and inspection for quality of said items, as well as photographing and overall listing as advertisement for sale on the company website, Radwell.com, in conformance with existing database design and policies. In addition this position is responsible for put away of new inventory and performing cycle counts of existing inventory at regular intervals. This position is also responsible for ensuring the quick and consistent delivery of small parts items to the production floor or directly to shipping for external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and receive all incoming product

  • Assist Receiving staff with research as necessary.

  • Assess pricing and descriptions of items where list and/or market price cannot be determined due to age of part or manufacturer discontinuation

  • Provide overall help, support, and assistance with regular receiving process which includes the following:

  • Read and review each Bid or Purchase Order that is assigned accordingly, noting any additional verbal or written instructions from Supervisors or Purchasing staff

  • Determine correct conditions and quantities of merchandise; note changes and discrepancies

  • Receive items correctly and accurately into inventory, recording serial numbers, series, firmware, revision levels etc. as necessary.

  • Photograph items clearly with accurate weight, including several angles as necessary.

  • Report completed Purchase orders and Bids accordingly.

  • Put Away new inventory in it's designated area

  • Cycle Count existing inventory at regular intervals as deemed by management

  • Clean and organize small parts room at regular intervals as deemed by management

  • Pick and process all small parts inventory requisitions and sales orders using the mobile handheld

  • Ensure delivery of requisitions and sales order to the appropriate parties in a timely fashion.

Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned and modified as necessary.

  • Weighted Point System

  • Required minimum of 85% of goal reached and/or 15 Lots per hour

  • Items processed per designated timeframe

  • Audit pricing and listing approvals

  • Processing errors recorded in Management Reporting System

  • Missing items/errors may result in Commission Penalty

  • This position has no direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medium technical skill

  • Detail oriented

  • Computer literate

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong Computer proficiency

  • Knowledge of industrial automation products

  • Good communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college or technical schooling preferred

BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN

  • Eligible for commission after successful completion of probationary 90 days.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

  • Probationary Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue

  • Monthly Reviews

  • Employee will be given a brief written monthly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
  • Annual Reviews
  • Monthly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is an hourly position. The schedule for this position is 7am

  • 4pm or 8am- 5pm or 9am-6pm Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour meal break.

Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for overtime or extra hours as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The environment is a plant and inventory setting. Dress attire is casual but professional in a plant and inventory setting. All employees are required to wear "Radwear" (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe, hard sole shoes must be worn. Safety shoes are recommended.

Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times. Employees must adhere to all Radwell Safety Requirements at all times (see safety manual posted online).
