Title: QA Project Manager
Location: Providence, RI
Duration: 8+ Months with possible extension

The purpose of this solicitation is to hire Development Architect and Quality Assurance Lead with a background to assist with the validation, assurance and leadership for the testing, cutover, installation, and stabilization of the Critical UHIP Programs to ensure successful system repairs/updates.

SCOPE:
Ability to work multiple tasks in a fast-paced State environment.
Able to demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate and coordinate activities with diverse groups, including business owners, 3rd parties, other project managers, technical staff and our lead systems integrator.
Experienced in large scale complex systems.
Strong process orientation including producing and implementing project plans.
Strong experience in leading multi stakeholder team, planning Quality assurance activities and releases
Sound understanding of design, build, deploy and stabilization of business critical systems.
Strong understanding of SDLC process
Experience working in an agile environment and with tools like Jira etc.
7 or more years of professional work experience
State and local government experience a plus
Strong knowledge of business, technical and data architectures
PMP is strongly preferred
In depth knowledge of project management practices, value, and approach
Experience in requirement analysis of product, extensions, impact analysis and determining critical to quality factors.
Extensive experience in all phases of product custom testing, test battery formulation, test cases and scenario identification, validation process and techniques and execution and results tracking.
Capacity to quickly acquire knowledge related to software, hardware, and processes
Demonstrate resourcefulness, effective time management, organization, and advanced interpersonal ability
Ability to effectively communicate internally and with clients, when needed, in a professional manner
Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills

Deliverables:

Provide leadership on Quality assurance and Test plan, Release plan for the cutover, installation, and stabilization of the RI UHIP software solution and configuration
Lead and manage to the above plan dates and implementation.
Provide internal team and external project status reporting
Act as IT project champion and representative. Move things forward deliver results.
Work as a key member of the IT Program Leadership Team
Set priorities and manage IT Program for assigned Critical Program accordingly

Bachelor?s Degree required. Preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering/Management, or other related field. ? Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience in large facility construction ? All projects are from the ground up ? Ability to read and interpret blueprints. ? Familiarity of building codes and their application. ? Knowledge of material handling equipment, industrial HVAC systems, and electrical systems. ? Ability to travel for extended periods of time ? usually 2-3 months on one project. Key Responsibilities: ? The Construction Project Manager is responsible for monitoring engineering and permitting process prior to start of construction. ? Oversee labor personnel on project, coordinating any activities with the Superintendent. ? Develop and manage project schedules at least 3 weeks out and continue to monitor and update the project schedule as needed. ? Maintain equipment log of construction rental equipment ?
