The Zaxby's Support Center is looking for a Manager, Quality Assurance - Restaurant Techonology to join the IT Store Systems team. As a QA Manager, your main focus will be to work on a variety of verification/validation efforts to assist in the development and deployment of both updates to our Digital Ordering platforms and our in-store POS updates. You will own the creation and development of a structured Zaxby's QA methodology, including developing comprehensive test plans and generating scenarios that thoroughly test the work of development teams against a field of requirements and expected behaviors. You will build test plans consisting of comprehensive business scenarios and real world structured and unstructured testing. Additionally, you will triage and diagnose issues from live feature development tests as well as daily integration and weekly structured testing scenarios in order to sign off on release of new features and bug fixes. Lastly, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, test coverage, and data visualization through automation and scripting.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and allows for a hybrid work schedule with 3 in-office days per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive a holistic and quality-first approach to software development and delivery

  • Manage QA teams while effectively solving problems that cross product, functional and geographical boundaries

  • Provide technical direction and leadership to a team of external QA Engineers

  • Establish metrics to determine readiness, quality and operability of software, systems and product

  • Oversee/manage software development QA across customer-facing digital applications and websites

  • Oversee/manage software development QA across in-store infrastructure pieces including the ParBrink POS, QSRAutomations kitchen software, Crunchtime inventory management software and related updates

  • Create and manage automated scripts to increase speed-to-market for software updates, maintenance, and rollbacks

  • Take ownership of manual and automated tests, QA processes, and day to day QA activities

  • Evangelize best practices and processes, coaching other stakeholders to elevate the overall technical quality and maturity

  • Champion learning, growth, engagement and continuous improvement for yourself and others in the organization

  • Set the standard for authentic communication and collaboration for QA processes and their timelines

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Understanding of QA governance and development of processes; retail or restaurant technology background a major plus

  • Experience with key management platforms like Jira Atlassian, FreshDesk, SauceLabs, UIPath, etc.

  • Proven ability to create test plans for software validation

  • Strong leadership acumen and partnership management for service vendors

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and demonstrating clear business impact

  • Analytically driven and comfortable in various data platforms to answer questions and solve problems

  • Experienced with release management and agile methodologies

  • Lead and develop a team of leaders to continue to scale the business unit as needs arise across the organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience: 4+ years in QA roles with 2+ years of leadership/supervision of QA engineers; restaurant technology background highly preferred

PAY RANGE

$110,000 - $140,000
