Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Implementing, maintaining, verifying and validating the Company's SQF System
Develop, audit and enforce Quality Control policies and procedures that will result in consistent quality products that fulfill customer needs
Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
Monitor all operations that affect quality
Ensure that all personnel are adhering to the expectations set forth within the established policies and procedures
Serve as liaison with customers on quality issues
Provide technical support to Production Operations relating to product quality
Assist with the training and implantation of all practices and safety
Preform visual inspection and analytical testing of finished products
Identify and track measurements of quality
Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
Develops and keeps current all HAACP, GMP, Safety programs
Review current standards and policies
Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and records
Ensure all legal standards are met
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers and the general public is important
Ability to write reports and business correspondence
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree
Three or more years of experience in a QA role
1+ year(s) in a supervisor role
Experience with SQF Systems
Experience in computer systems operation, proficient with spreadsheets, charts, graphs, excel PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and written/verbal skills
