Our Quality Assurance team is currently seeking a QA Managed Service Lead in our Worcester, MA office or remote work location.

This is a full time, exempt role.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Center of Excellence leader, the position of Managed Service Lead primarily focuses on the facilitation of effective integration and management of QA managed services and activities within the overall IT lifecycle through knowledge transition, facilitation of early engagement of QA resources in the SDLC, identifying opportunities for QA transformation within the business unit and trending and monitoring service performance and Hanover dependencies to facilitate quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated with strong leadership skills and can drive consensus and balance priorities. They will serve as account liaisons and quality management champions for the business unit(s) they support and enable the results and quality of QA services delivered.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Facilitate relationship and resource management between Hanover and vendor teams

  • Partner with business unit and project leaders to understand the business strategy, goals, and objectives, identify demand, and manage supply

  • Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services, ensure appropriate engagement of QA with the business to support test objectives and timelines

  • Influence the adoption of QA processes and facilitation of transformations resulting in operational efficiencies aligned with organizational commitments to quality

  • Coordinate and monitor software projects from initiation through delivery facilitating reviews of test strategies and test estimates to enable consistent alignment with business expectations

  • Evaluate work intake within a business unit, validate alignment of project scope with test estimation and ensure test cost remains within budget

  • Collect and synthesize metrics and data points to collaborate with peers and colleagues in support of the Key Performance Indicators defined for the program

  • Build and grow credible relationships with key stakeholders

  • Enable opportunities to leverage QA tools, solution accelerators, QA automation, and establish effective regression test beds based on business priorities

  • Help to lead the organization along the maturity to path from quality control / assurance to quality management / engineering

  • Trend, monitor, analyze and report on vendor performance (SLAs) and contractual terms within each business unit. Review test status / metrics and effectively identify / manage issues and risks

  • Ensure continuous improvement of the vendor team in the areas of business acumen, technical capability and delivery of test innovation and efficiencies. Ensure vendor performance meets the organization's requirements and contractual agreements

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience within various software delivery models - agile, iterative, waterfall

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

  • Certification in ISTQB or ITIL is a plus

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (ie. US citizen or Greencard holder)

  • Proven experience with tools and techniques associated with quality engineering

  • Sound leadership skills with experience in leading test strategies and transforming QA methodologies

  • Strong software QA knowledge, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail

  • Solid problem solving, organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results with urgency.

  • Proficient in leveraging financial data for data analysis

  • Willingness to work in a hands-on capacity

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting, effectively build relationships and interact at all levels within the organization

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • changing priorities and timelines while managing multiple simultaneous initiatives
