Our industry leading client is searching for an experienced QA Lead to drive the execution of enterprise Test Requirements using the Selenium Suite. Strong QA Leads will have experience leading both onshore and offshore resources.

The QA Lead will be responsible for supporting QA Test Engineers in an Agile Environment providing guidance and overseeing on testing standards, processes, and assisting with code reviews.

Rate: $50.00 - $60.00/hr BOE C2C or W2 (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k Matching)
Duration: 12 months + Contract (Renewable)

Requirements for QA Lead:
5 to 10 years Quality assurance experience with 3 years as a QA Lead
Experience leading Test projects using Selenium
Drives execution and scripts development to plan and support user driven tests
Leads defect mitigation and resolution working collaboratively with development to manage break/fix releases
Experience leading onshore and offshore QA Teams
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Has specific leadership responsibility for Quality Control and Quality Assurance team to ensure systems are in accordance with the LSI Lighting ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. The Director Quality will lead the development and maintenance of all company Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes and standards in a way that engages all personnel in continuous improvement and efficient operation so that the company achieves its objectives strategically and operationally and meets its compliance and financial reporting responsibilities. Directs, leads and implements improved quality processes, improved work practices and improved reliability in process and product design. Will collect and distribute the needed quality data to assist in telling the LSI quality history and effectively manage the business. Leads the Quality Team and directly coordinates needed process and product improvements identified from field returns and process problems. The Director of Quality will provide sustained leadership in technical testing support to monitor process controlled systems, receiving inspection and final product testing. The Director of Quality will be responsible for implementing and supporting process improvement methodologies. A solid understanding of how to drive operational improvements in a lean environment is a requirement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Leads the Quality Systems Management function and team. * Organizes the entire LSI quality team in such a way as to facilitate the "one LSI" concept. * Designs, implements and oversees a culture of Quality Practices that proactively approaches compliance-related initiatives and items, engaging all levels of the organization throughout implementation and sustainability. * Functions as ISO 9001:2015 Management Representatives and main accountable party for LSI Lighting Facilities and ensures continued ISO 9001:2015 certification. Responsible aspects of Certification to include but not limited to certification audits, training, and maintenance for all departments in LSI Lighting. * Creates, implements and communicates quality standards and documentation. * Leads internal audits. * Supports data analysis and needs for all customer complaints including root cause analysis and written corrective action plans. * Leads the Quality Team to rapidly identify, analyze and resolve product quality issues. * Provides quality assurance testing of final product assembly, manufacturing process system monitoring services, receiving inspection, and returned good failure analysis. * Manages the identification of the root cause of product failure, reports and tracks quality trends by product and component level failure, assigns resources to resolve and drive resolution of the failure. * Responsible to improve the product and production processes and reduce the quality problems in our shipped product. * Creates a continuous improvement training opportunity for the QC technicians so they are the company expert product quality assurance resources. * Monitors all special product production runs to insure custom specification requirements, be involved in the new product design for manufacturing review team. * Manages Discrepant Materials Programs (RMAs) methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility. * Directs LSI Lighting Quality Engineers and Technicians engaged in inspecting, measuring, testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability. * Establishes and maintains the "Gage Room" and the distribution of all measuring equipment as well as calibration requirements. * Tests ECN changes, production fixes and new testing software implemented by IT on quality related manufacturing systems. * Maintains Quality Management System user and process documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 Standard. Qualifications * Demonstrated and documented direct Quality Management experience in manufacturing operations or equivalent demonstrated experience. * Demonstrated and documented experience of leading direct and indirect quality resources/employees * ISO 9001:2015 Trained/Certified with direct QMS and Audit implementation experience * Experience in designing and implementing quality systems. * Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation. * A proven track record of success in a leadership position. * A proven track record of successfully reducing customer complaints and product defects. * Ability to critically evaluate complex problems. * Ability to effectively lead multi-disciplinary teams. * Strong business intelligence. * The ability to make sound decisions in the absence of higher management. * Manufacturing leadership skills. * Excellent training skills. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills. * Experience in electrical and solid state electronics is desirable.
