We are looking for a QA Manager that fulfills all of the below.
What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the design, creation, and execution of test automation across software applications/platform.

  • Lead on-site and remote team members in review of product requirements, use cases, user stories, and functional requirements to inform test plans in compliance with QA best practices and standards.

  • Establish and execute processes for load, reliability, and performance testing of software applications/platform.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance statistics of product quality and champion best practices and modern tools/techniques.

  • Lead QA project/planning efforts and technical design sessions vital to maintaining quality.

  • Establish operational processes for ensuring high-quality software applications across desktop/mobile browsers, mobile apps, connected devices, and cloud-based platforms.

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to review, scope, estimate, coordinate, and execute on best in class QA initiatives.

  • Identify engineering process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify and flag risks early and proactively remove blockers to ensure timely execution of product roadmap.
    What You Need for this Position

  • BA/BS required, preferably in a Computer Science or Business discipline.

  • 6-8 years in a lead or management QA role on consumer facing software applications and cloud-based platforms.

  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.

  • Load testing tools like LoadRunner and/or JMeter.

  • Scripting languages like Ant, Ruby, Python, or Javascript.

  • Architecting, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks for unit, API, and UI testing.

  • Testing a large portfolio of high-traffic sites and applications, including the platform applications that power them.

  • Agile methodologies and frequent release cycles.

  • CI/CD and SDLC.

  • Approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery, and release of software.

  • Strong understanding of the QA risks of dealing with a high-traffic, high-availability production systems.

  • Well versed in writing automation scripts using software configuration management tools.

  • Proficiency in vendor management.

  • Able to prioritize tasks and projects to align with our roadmap and business goals.

  • Thorough understanding of operational support processes and ability to direct team in dissecting and diagnosing complex problems.

  • Proven record of building high performing teams.

  • Proven history of thriving in a fast-paced environment, while dealing with ambiguity.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to focus on the big picture and not just the engineering or production realm; with the ability to lead others in that direction.

This also includes facilitating the continuous improvement of the Intelligence, Information and Services Quality Management System to improve customer deliverable products, critical processes, systems, and help to manage customer relationships. The Senior Manager position within the Quality & Mission Assurance organization is considered the leader of all Quality and Mission Assurance personnel and initiatives within the Product Support business. Essential Job Functions: * The Senior Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for the Mission Assurance performance for all Product Support programs within Navigation, Weather and Services Mission Area. * Develop partnerships with Senior Leaders throughout the Product Support organization to define strategies which will shape the organization's ability to become the best provider of products and services to a broad internal and external customer set * Partner with the Product Support Leadership Team in the Identification and integration of quality improvement advancements which enable business strategic growth to the benefit of enhanced customer success and improved profitability- anticipate future needs to support business growth. * Assess / define key program technical parameters to ensure products meet end item performance requirements and quality improvement objectives * Sustain continuous assessment of implementation of systems, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality and impact on the business- Be able to apply Quality process knowledge to the Product Support business * Lead in the collection and analysis of data to produce strategic and tactical recommendations or actions to address deficiencies- work with area leads to develop meaningful metrics that are actively used to manage Mission Assurance activities and support the success and growth of Product Support programs. * Implement efficient tools and processes that will drive performance excellence * Lead "cost of poor quality" initiatives to drive improvement in overall Product Support programs and supplier management performance * Embed Quality work products across the product lifecycle to preempt risk and drive an attention-to-detail and prevention oriented culture. * Address potential quality issues early to prevent growth into program performance issues * Ensure AS9100:2016 or ISO9001:2015 compliance and registration for Raytheon sites where Product Support programs are performed.
