We are looking for a QA Manager that fulfills all of the below.
What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the design, creation, and execution of test automation across software applications/platform.

  • Lead on-site and remote team members in review of product requirements, use cases, user stories, and functional requirements to inform test plans in compliance with QA best practices and standards.

  • Establish and execute processes for load, reliability, and performance testing of software applications/platform.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance statistics of product quality and champion best practices and modern tools/techniques.

  • Lead QA project/planning efforts and technical design sessions vital to maintaining quality.

  • Establish operational processes for ensuring high-quality software applications across desktop/mobile browsers, mobile apps, connected devices, and cloud-based platforms.

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to review, scope, estimate, coordinate, and execute on best in class QA initiatives.

  • Identify engineering process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify and flag risks early and proactively remove blockers to ensure timely execution of product roadmap.
    What You Need for this Position

  • BA/BS required, preferably in a Computer Science or Business discipline.

  • 6-8 years in a lead or management QA role on consumer facing software applications and cloud-based platforms.

  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.

  • Load testing tools like LoadRunner and/or JMeter.

  • Scripting languages like Ant, Ruby, Python, or Javascript.

  • Architecting, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks for unit, API, and UI testing.

  • Testing a large portfolio of high-traffic sites and applications, including the platform applications that power them.

  • Agile methodologies and frequent release cycles.

  • CI/CD and SDLC.

  • Approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery, and release of software.

  • Strong understanding of the QA risks of dealing with a high-traffic, high-availability production systems.

  • Well versed in writing automation scripts using software configuration management tools.

  • Proficiency in vendor management.

  • Able to prioritize tasks and projects to align with our roadmap and business goals.

  • Thorough understanding of operational support processes and ability to direct team in dissecting and diagnosing complex problems.

  • Proven record of building high performing teams.

  • Proven history of thriving in a fast-paced environment, while dealing with ambiguity.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A mind for business and the bottom-line. We want to deliver new features and value to customers as quickly as possible while maintaining a high quality experience.

  • Ability to focus on the big picture and not just the engineering or production realm; with the ability to lead others in that direction.

  • Ability to work at all points in the QA pipeline, including being a hands-on contributor.

Northrop Grumman is looking for a Industrial Engineering Manager to provide Industrial Engineering support to the El Segundo Advanced Composites Center & Fabrication Teams. Provide Industrial Engineering processes that ensure program milestones and performance goals are achieved, including an affordability deployment strategy that provides for the achievement of long range program goals. Provide technical input supporting program and production plans, proposals and initiatives. Coordinate the development and maintenance of manufacturing schedules and plans to ensure adequate labor, facilities, equipment, tooling, and materials are available on time to ensure customer requirements are met. Analyze and provide recommendations for the acquisition of capital assets and related funding allocations. Direct the development, release and maintenance of manufacturing requirements and work sequence plans, consistent with program scheduling objectives. Develop and maintain applicable labor and resource requirements plans and utilization reports. Provide variance analyses, corrective action plans and process improvements for poorly performing processes. Utilizes advanced engineering methods and models to develop optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources. Analyzes and designs value stream, including capability, capacity (e.g., make/buy, supplier selection, risk analysis, supplier performance), throughput, work flow and logistics. Provide for the personnel development and training of personnel so that critical skills and resources are available as necessary to support current and projected Integrated Product Team requirements. Ensure cost effective application of Industrial Engineering processes. Maintain sufficient documentation of these processes to enable application consistent with homeroom policies. Administer to Industrial Engineering employees; including performance reviews, merit increases, promotions, skills inventory and personal resources. Perform to functional and program budget and schedule requirements. Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
