Now we need a Quality Assurance Engineer to join us in Seattle on out SmartCast services team.
Work with dev teams and program managers to understand product features and develop test plans and matrices based on business and functional requirements
Develops, writes and reviews test plans to ensure that software functions as expected.
Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution
Troubleshoot issues experienced during testing
Ensure strong attention to detail and be able to accomplish a wide variety of tasks
Drive the test case sign-off process, test execution and reporting of test results
Estimates quality assurance testing effort levels.
Collects quality assurance metrics and communicates as necessary.
Understand and use JIRA and TestRails for test case management, creation, execution and bug reports
Organize cross team "bug bashes"
Experience in a technical role of 2+ years, ideally with demonstrated QA experience
Familiar with software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies
Experience with end to end testing including regression testing and experience.
