Now we need a Quality Assurance Engineer to join us in Seattle on out SmartCast services team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with dev teams and program managers to understand product features and develop test plans and matrices based on business and functional requirements

  • Develops, writes and reviews test plans to ensure that software functions as expected.

  • Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution

  • Troubleshoot issues experienced during testing

  • Ensure strong attention to detail and be able to accomplish a wide variety of tasks

  • Drive the test case sign-off process, test execution and reporting of test results

  • Estimates quality assurance testing effort levels.

  • Collects quality assurance metrics and communicates as necessary.

  • Understand and use JIRA and TestRails for test case management, creation, execution and bug reports

  • Organize cross team "bug bashes"

Basic qualifications:

  • Experience in a technical role of 2+ years, ideally with demonstrated QA experience

  • Familiar with software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies

  • Experience with end to end testing including regression testing and experience.
