Texas Department of Family and Protective Services requires the services of 12 QA Associate/Analyst 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA Associate/Analyst 3, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Department of Family and Protective Services will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).The QA Associate Analyst will work in collaboration with the development team to ensure DFPS business needs are reflected in the quality and usability of software code that is developed and deployed. The analyst position will mitigate timeline and accuracy risks associated with software coding changes by discovering defects in software code prior to its release to internal and external customers. Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and both written and verbal communications skills with software testing experience are necessary. Software testing will involve working with the IT project team as well as program staff at DFPS.
