Vaco Tampa is hiring TWO QA resources for a client near the Tampa Airport. Both of these roles are a direct hire opportunity and all work must be completed on-site.

Evaluate existing manual test cases, and identify opportunities for automation.

Develop a plan that includes both short-term and long-term test automation solutions.

Develop test automation scripts and tools using Selenium frameworks (and the various testing options such as Selenium IDE, Selenium RD and Selenium WebDriver).

Collaborate with project test teams to implement developed automation.

Analyze current automation solutions, understand changing business needs, and propose strategies for the enhancement and/or migration to new automation framework

Communicate effectively and clearly to the team and customer present technical approaches and findings

Utilize Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Agile methodology working among the team to meet deadlines for 2-3 week sprints

Develop design specifications / documentation, test plans and protocols.

Document test cases and findings in JIRA and TFS

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelors degree and 3+ years software testing experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Hands-on experience with automated testing practices and tools.

Prior experience with Selenium framework implementation

Experience developing design documentation specifications, test plans and process

Experience using JIRA, TFS, or comparable tools

Understanding of application, system architecture, and environments configurations

Understanding of Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.

Competencies:

Ablity to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings

Ability to work independently with limited direction

Desired:

Experience working in an Agile environment strongly preferred

Experience with JAVA applications

Primary Responsibilities: * Identifies the need for and actively builds or supports the development of tools for mass data maintenance in support of Data Management's change control process * Serves as lead on deployments of complex installs to production, QA and UAT environments * Creates and maintains UAT protocols including required test data maintaining referential integrity data quality and data usage within the testing discipline * Establishes data quality controls at the point of entry for critical attributes through data profiling and data cleansing * Quantifies data discrepancies through data mining and works with the business to implements best practices for continuous quality improvement Required Qualifications: * Advanced knowledge of MS Access (set up an Access database, writing scripts) * Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (macros, conditional formatting, pivet tables etc.) * 1 years of experience working with databases, report creation and generation * Basic SQL skills Preferred Qualifications: * Configuration Management * SmartConnect Mapping * Health care industry experience * Sales Pad and Great Plains experience * DME (Durable Medical Equipment) knowledge Careers with OptumRx.
