The QA Analyst 1 is responsible for quality assurance on multiple email projects. Creating program checklists, finding defects and monitoring progress throughout the testing lifecycle.


  • Creates project checklists and individual tests for core programs. Defines scenarios with datasets and logic to perform testing.

  • Submits bugs and issues to development for correction, and retests once bugs have been resolved.

  • Reports testing results and project status using bug reporting tools and other communications as appropriate.

  • Interacts with project managers and development teams to identify and refine test requirements.

  • May assist with refining overall testing processes and documentation as needed.

  • Participate in daily, weekly and monthly meetings for overall project reviews


  • QA testing experience with emails and websites preferred

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with JIRA bug tracking software

  • Strong understanding of mobile devices

  • Good understanding of Google's G Suite

  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Team player as well as a self-starter who has good time management skills

Other Skills

  • Familiarity with the MacOS and Macbooks

  • Experience with MS Office

  • Experience with virtual machine environments a plus

We have an opening for a Software QA Engineer to support our bioinformatics AmpliSeq Designer software team. The individual will be involved in testing and validation of scientific applications that run on a cloud (AWS). The successful candidate will be part of an innovative multi-disciplinary team developing applications for Ion Torrent DNA sequencing. As part of this team, they will be expected to work in a fast paced, complex setting to hard deliverables in a collaborative environment. Critical thinking, determination to succeed, the willingness and courage to push the boundaries on the possible and the drive to deliver are key attributes. What will you do? * Design and implement tests for bioinformatics applications and pipelines, including AmpliSeq primer design pipeline. * Work with stakeholders to understand system and software requirements and ensure that test plans and approach are appropriate. * Review requirements and technical design documents, and provide feedback * Create appropriate test plans and test cases * Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, including regression and integration tests. * Design and create appropriate stress tests for software systems * Create, review and track meaningful bug and issue descriptions using issue tracking software (JIRA) * Help in development and improvement of software development practices and protocols for developing robust, high quality software * Develop and track software quality assurance metrics * Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies How will you get here?
