Purpose of Position: Review and process all incoming forms and document types for CaliforniaChoice using our integrated document management system.
Essential Functions:
o Employee Applications
o Change Requests
o Renewal Change Requests
o Terminations
o Waivers
o Web Based Forms
o Any additional forms introduced
Input indexing values into our integrated document management system based on paperwork/email/fax requests received
Maintain working knowledge of all products and systems used for job function (i.e. Pegasus, doc-link, SharePoint, etc.)
Assess and forward all forms and document types above to the appropriate team(s) or department(s) for processing
Meet department standards/expectations for quality and quantity of work
Adhere to all Protected Health Information (PHI) and all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines
Perform the tasks and functions necessary to manage the Eligibility work bin
On-site regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
Performs other business tasks or functions as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Ability to adapt to policy and company changes
Ability to retain large quantities of information regarding department and company policies
Computer literate (Windows), word processing skills (MS Word), and data entry skills
Typing at 50 WPM or more
Strong problem solving, written, verbal, and organizational skills to communicate within an office environment
Must be highly motivated, have ability to take initiative, be accountable, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Bilingual preferred

Educational Requirements:
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasional standing and walking. Must have adequate hearing for interdepartmental phone calls. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
